Confessions of a Shopaholic

For starters, I'm not a yard sale/Goodwill type of girl so don't get it twisted. A few people told me to download the app Mercari to sell my old stuff since I'm always complaining about having a closet full of clothes that are too big for me. MAC released their Cinderella collection around the time I created an account on the app. I don't live near a MAC store, so of course I missed out on the collection and I was devastated to say the least. Online all the items were running for $300+. On Mercari, they were somewhat reasonable. Still way over retail. But I guess the amount of joy the products brought me was worth spending approximately $250.
Next, I ordered this brand new Coach glitter wristlet for $20 total. It was limited edition for last Christmas. I really wanted it & had told my mom I wanted it for Christmas, so I didn't spend my own money on it. She ended up not getting me it and my world just crashed right down. Then I found this one on Mercari and I was super excited because people want ridiculous amounts for this as wel since it was limited edition. (The case is also from Mercari.)
This is one of my most exciting finds, in my opinion. I had been wanting a Too Faced teddy bear hair brush, but I just already have so many I didn't see the point. I found this Too Faced teddy bear hair kabuki - unused - for $10 total.
This case retails for $26 when ordered from Velvet Caviar. I got it new, still wrapped in the plastic for $10 total. I ended up reselling it because the glitter moved slow and just drove me crazy.
I ordered this Smashbox contour kit for $25 total. It retails $45. I absolutely LOVE this kit, by the way. I'm considering writing a post to review my favorite makeup products because I've actually discovered some amazing products lately.

I never signed up for IPSY because I was completely in the dark about it. As much as I love makeup, I had no idea it existed until May. I found out about it in May because everyone was posting their adorable makeup bags, so of course I went straight to Mercari to buy them. I paid $4 total a piece and ordered all 3 designs. Unfortunately one got lost in the mail. I got my money back & just never reordered because they're really small so I don't have much use for them.
House of Lashes came out with a limited edition Ice Queen lash. I missed out, the usual. There's only one ad I can find for these online and it's $30. I got these for $5 total. I obviously had to have them. Elsa, glitter, makeup.. What else could a girl want?
We all know I'm obsessed with tanning & I've heard nothing but positive reviews about Snooki's tanning products. The price of her products fluctuate by salon but most ask around $60-$90 I believe. I got mine for $22 total and the girl sent the cutest package with lots of free stuff. It was heaven!
I'm still waiting for these lashes to arrive because I just ordered them. They're scheduled to get here Monday! Velour Lashes are supposed to be high quality, and since I love lashes so much I decided to try them. They retail $25 & I got them for $17. It's not a major savings, but oh well.
My most recent purchase is this Michael Kors wallet. I ordered it yesterday. I had been wanting a gold Michael Kors piece for a while when I came across this! Retails $158 and I got it for $66 total.
My absolute FAVORITE purchase ever is my Vera Wang Princess perfume. I ordered the 3.4fl oz, which is the largest bottle of the perfume. It retails for $75 and I got it for $25, brand new in the box. It smells so amazing and it's gorgeous. I'm absolutely in love.

I of course can afford to buy the items full price, but when you can buy something brand new for less, why wouldn't you? I'm all about saving as much money as I can to buy more things that I probably don't need.

If you're interested in downloading the app, use my invite code AFWVEZ. You'll get $2 added to your account to use towards your first purchase. :)

I'm going to add a collage of things I ordered as well with minor details. ♥️

Hello Kitty eyelashe case - $8.

Hello Kitty iPhone case - $13.
I love that I got this case for $13 because cases like this are usually $30+.

Brandy Melville keychain - $8.
It's only $2 on the website, but once I paid to ship it, it would've been $10. And it came with the cute sticker.

MAC Sushi Kiss - $18.
This was a limited edition lipstick & prices on it are usually outrageous.

MAC Nicki 2 Lipglass - $25.
Cheapest I've found since it was LE.

Glam & Go VS Bag - $18.
I regretted paying $18 since it was only $12 retail, but I couldn't find it anywhere and gave it.

Pink case - $18.
I need it, okay.

Beauty Blenders - $6.
I got 4 beauty blenders for $6, most places are $6 for 1.

Limited edition Ariel & Jasmine lashes - 4 pairs total for $8.

MaryLou Manizer highlighter - $15.
Retails $24.

Hello Kitty necklace - $8.
Retails $32

Hope.. Do not trust her, she is a fugly slut.

I actually despise Shop Hope's boutique. I've never had a GOOD experience with that website. First of all, all of their stuff sells out immediately so I just usually don't even try. News flash.. if you're selling out of all inventory in the first 10 minutes, you should probably start buying more. But I eventually got to the point that I didn't even WANT their stuff anymore. All the clothes look great in photos, but you get it in person and it looks like some cheap junk you'd buy at Charlotte Ruse. I think I'd actually prefer Charlotte Ruse over Hope's. All the materials are very cheap looking. I ordered this dress
and the straps were WAY too long. I had to pay to get it altered and I had to get the bottom cut off because it was fraying so much. Well, come to find out.. the straps were so long because they're supposed to CRISS-CROSS in the back. All the other websites selling this dress model it crossed in the back. They had their models wearing the dress WRONG, so I payed to "fix" something that just wasn't properly modeled.
I also ordered this dress, which you can't see much of it the photo.
It makes me look like a Barbie Hooker. It was $65 and looks like it was $15. It's made out of cheap, itchy fabric. In the photos it was BEAUTIFUL. In person, I'd rather die than wear it out in public.

I also ordered a romper. I was totally in love with it. It was Tiffany blue with lace & just absolutely gorgeous. I looked like I had a diaper on. It literally draped over me. They have to alter their clothing on models because their thinnest model was modeling it, she was my size and it fit PERFECTLY on her.

I ordered another maroon strapless romper. It was super cute. Got it home, put it on.. and it wouldn't stay up. Their clothes all together are cheap and unflattering.

Like, check out this skirt from there.

Literally, just over it.

I also bought a "reusable" sticky bra from them for $35. It was too small, it stopped sticking after less than a days worth of wear.. I looked up the brand & they sell the bra for $5 everywhere else.

I will stay beautiful as long as I stay away from your clothes.

** I've bought their Ark & Co. pieces though and all of those have been great. The Ark & Co. items are more expensive though.

Princess Bucket List

If you're not a girly-girl, this is not the place for you to be looking.

1. Eiffel Tower in October. They light it up pink & purple for breast cancer awareness, AH!
2. Hello Kitty Cafe - Seoul, South Korea.
Apparently one opened/is opening in California as well. It's just too adorable.

3. Barbie Dream House - Berlin, Germany.
It's an EXACT replica of the one in the animated Barbie series. There's also a Barbie cafe inside of it. It's what dreams are made of. I'm just screaming. The cafe puts Barbie silhouettes on all the food.. my inner five year old is super excited.

4. Find a Cupcake ATM.
It's just the cutest thing in the world. If you don't think so, you're wrong.
5. Casey's Cupcakes.
There's multiple locations of these in Cali & all their cupcakes have EDIBLE GLITTER. If you guys remember Casey from Laguna Beach, she owns it.

6. Marylou's Coffee.
I'm just intrigued because it's so pink and girly. Plus it's coffee, so extra intriguing.
7. Viceroy Spa - Miami, FL.
This is just the most gorgeous spa I've ever seen. Make that chandelier pink and it would be 10/10.
8. Gossip Girl fans, this one's for you.
Constance Billard. Fun fact: It's actually the museum of NY.
New York Palace Hotel. Where Serena lives.. duh.

The Archibald Town House.

The Humphrey Loft.

9. Painted Woman by Kameco - Beverly Hills, CA.
I feel like this one doesn't even need a caption.
10. Find a Benefit Cosmetics vending machine..
... because adorable, that's why.
11. Try Frozen White Hot Chocolate at Serendipity - NY.
It has edible glitter and that's why I need it.

Obesity/Anorexia

I don't believe in body shaming, but I also don't believe in praising unhealthy body types. I don't understand why being overweight is suddenly so glamorized. I 100% don't believe that you should make someone feel insecure about their weight, but I believe that you should encourage them to become healthy. I worked hard to get to the weight I wanted to be at and I'm tired of hearing, "men like girls with meat on their bones" or seeing posts that say "when did this *photo of skinny girls* become hotter than this *photos of bigger girls*." For starters, being both overweight and underweight are unhealthy. I totally understand both sides of the spectrum. When I was younger, I was a chubby kid. My grandparents were especially harsh about it. I would get headaches because I spent most days from 3-10 with my grandparents and all I would get to eat for the whole day was one container of yogurt because I was "too fat." I went to the doctor when I was in 3rd grade and he asked me the healthiest part of fruits and I said, "the seeds" because I didn't fucking know.. I was a little kid.. and he made me feel stupid and proceeded by telling me I was obese in a very harsh manner. I lost weight naturally over time because it was baby fat, but when I was 14-15 I decided I wanted an amazing body and started working out. I set a weight & once I reached it, I still didn't feel thin enough. I realized my ribs and hips were petruding to a point that wasn't attractive & I decided to put some weight back on pretty soon after. I finally reached a healthy weight that I was happy with, so obviously I like to post photos showing off my flat stomach that I've always dreamed of. I get called an attention whore, a slut, etc. Then I realized heavy girls are encouraged to embrace their bodies when thin girls are shamed for "showing off." Once a girl called my a slut for posting a bikini picture to show off the weight I had lost, I went to her page and she had a photo of an overweight woman in LINGERIE and she was praising her. It's such a double standard. Soon after I lost my weight, I started seeing all kinds of stuff about "men prefer women with meat on their bones" & it made me feel like shit after I had worked so hard. I finally realized my body is amazing, I worked hard & it's something to be proud of. Anyone who says it's "showing off" is angry that they're not comfortable with their own bodies. I just find it very unfair that overweight women are praised and girls who worked for their bodies are ridiculed. Everyone should be encouraged to be healthy.

• Diet pills are not an effective way to lose weight. If you use diet pills, I'm literally judging you. Same with wraps & waist trainers.
• Dieting of course will help you drop a few pounds if you've previously had significant calorie intake. But at some point it stops working.. You need to EXERCISE! to lose weight.
• Waist trainers will not give you an hour glass shape. If you're not naturally built an hourglass, you're pretty much out of luck. Everyone has a different body type, metal crushing your ribs isn't going to fix that.

• I HATE being asked how I lost weight. I hate being accused of starving myself or being bulimic. Starving yourself will only lower your metabolism, resulting in weight gain. I lost weight very effectively & very quickly in a pretty simple way. I walked on the treadmill for 2-3 hours a night on 3.5 & highest incline. It burned about 900 to 1,000 calories. So, basically I'd just watch a movie and walk at a pretty comfortable pace and burn 1,000 calories. I also cut out all soft drinks. My dad uses regular cokes as a drain unclogger because the acid in it literally eats away everything clogged in a drain. That's horrible for your body. Switching to all water significantly helps with weight loss on top of that. For my meals, I ate mostly sandwiches. I would eat approximately 3 or 4 times a day and I'd eat turkey sandwiches with mayonnaise, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and baked lays. I still had my Starbucks trips multiple times a week. You can have treats just don't over do it. And I eventually got to where I started going  out to eat once a week. I've kept a steady weight and I even still lose and have to eat a ton to prevent from getting too thin. It takes work to get where you want. I don't workout anymore, I eat out and have Starbucks all the time, and I LOSE weight. But everything's about a balance.

The Starbucks Virgin's Bible (You're Welcome)

There are honestly so many Starbucks virgins who message me asking me what to get from Starbucks. I didn't know it was possible to be a Starbucks virgin, but I'm here to rescue your souls. I make two Starbucks stops per day so I'm going to tell you my usual orders & then I'll tell you about some others that are heavenly too.

• Caramel Frappuccino. I've noticed a lot of Starbucks seem to add way too much milk to this and just drown the taste of it out. I get an extra pump of frap roast (not recommended if you don't love coffee) and caramel drizzle in the cup. The caramel drizzle actually makes such a difference.
• Iced Vanilla Latte. This is pretty self explanatory. The iced lattes I've got from other places always seem to be very sweet, but the ones from Starbucks have a very strong coffee flavor. You'll also be awake for, like, ever so I'd recommend this for the morning unless you wanna be awake ALL night. I definitely prefer iced lattes over hot lattes, they have so much more flavor.
• Iced White Mocha. These are good both iced and hot. I can't even explain this drink, it's just sex in your mouth. So try it.
• Mocha Frappuccinos. These are good SOMETIMES. I mean, it depends whose making it, really. I'd recommend getting a shot of espresso or getting an extra pump of frap roast unless you want to basically drink frozen caffienated chocolate milk.
• Caramel Ribbon Crunch. Okay- this is by far my favorite... BUT, the only thing that makes the actual drink different from the regular caramel Frappuccino is the dark caramel sauce. My Starbucks has been too cheap/stingy whatever to add the dark caramel and I just gave up on it. The crunches on the top are amazing though.
• Pumpkin Spice. Don't forget about pumpkin spice. It's basically caffienated pumpkin pie. If you've never had it, I feel sorry for you.

Now, onto stuff that isn't good.
• Macchiattos. A lot of people love these, I personally don't. I don't like the taste, the texture.. Nothing. It tastes VERY syrupy & it's like syrup clumps inside of it and gets slimy. I just don't like them, personally.
• Iced coffee. I'm not saying their iced coffee is bad, I just don't love it. I personally prefer McDonald's iced coffee over theirs. It's just pretty plain. And I also realized the first time I ordered it there that you have to ask for milk or cream because if you don't you're getting coffee blacker than your soul. I guess I was just used to McDonald's doing it for me automatically.
• Cotton Candy Frappuccino. I loved cotton candy so I assumed that I'd love this. No. It's pink & all, but it just tastes very strong like raspberry. It's too sweet & I just don't love it. I couldn't even drink it, I gave it to my mom.. she liked it though, so..

I have to drive an hour to get to Starbucks, so my love is real. I do settle for McDonald's occasionally if I don't leave town. McDonald's drinks have more calories and they're smaller, so it's a bummer. But, if you're not near Starbucks like me, here's alternatives.
• Caramel Frappe. Yum. Just yum.
• Oreo Frappe. This has like 10,000 calories but it has a strong coffee flavor & it's chocolatey amazingness.
• Iced Coffee. The Vanilla & Hazelnut iced coffee are good, but it's only good when it's fresh. They don't make it when you order it like they do at Starbucks. So, your best chance is first thing in the morning. Then it's amazing.
• Iced Latte. The hazelnut iced latte is bae. It's really sweet & creamy, but has a strong enough coffee flavor. I recommend it over the iced coffee just because it's always fresher.
• Hot Vanilla Latte. This has a super strong coffee flavor. Like, you can barely taste the vanilla. The hot lattes and cold lattes have a much different taste.

Not good...
• Iced Caramel Mocha. Just don't even get this. It tastes like you're puking up caramel chocolates.
• Iced Mocha. It's basically just chocolate milk. I don't recommend. It tastes like vomit.

Also, Burger King has vanilla and plain iced coffee. Their coffee is Seattle's Best which is like Starbucks level coffee. I've tried the vanilla & it's good but it's very sweet. It's almost like a melted milkshake & their larges are the size of a McDonald's small.

One night it snowed & the only place open was Arby's. I asked if they had coffee and they said, "no but we have a milkshake that kinda tastes kinda like coffee" ????? okay I got it, it was like a gross chocolate milkshake. I didn't even drink it. Just, ew.

& TBell has iced coffee. But I'm afraid to try it, because... ew.

Anyways, I'm sure most of you don't care about my coffee opinions but a lot of you know I'm coffee obsessed & frequently ask. ♥️

#GrowingUpSpoiled

I feel like #GrowingUpSpoiled, #GrowingUpPretty, and #GrowingUpWithRestingBitchFace all go together for me. I live in a small town & I always had more of a luxurious life than most people. So, naturally people always used "your spoiled" as insult towards me. People dissed me for getting nicer clothes, expensive purses, high end makeup, traveling and shopping frequently. Along with that, when living in a small southern town, all anyone really cares about is drinking. Most of the girls here don't wear makeup, don't dress up, all they care about is whose house they're going to be getting drunk at. I've never been into drinking, smoking, or drugs. I take major pride in my appearance. I like to look neat and put together. Everyone assumes that because of that I think I'm "better than them." I just like to look nice, it makes me feel good about myself. I don't like to frequently wear t-shirts and jeans. I'm more of a nice dress, cute sandals, and a lot of accessories kind of girl. But if you want to wear jeans and t-shirts, go for it.. to each their own. I was always shy and being the pretty, spoiled girl with resting bitch face didn't really help me out. Since I was shy and always looked pissed af, everyone once again assumed that I thought I was better than them. I also don't take shit. I am sensitive, I do have breaking points, but I never cry in front of anyone. It takes a lot to make me cry, and I promise I'll be a bigger bitch back to you. Because I know that I'm pretty, everyone thinks I'm being arrogant and stuck up. I see absolutely nothing wrong with a girl knowing she's pretty. If you know you're pretty, GOOD FOR YOU!♡ Then girls go to the defense of, "well she wears a lot of makeup" yes, and...? You wear makeup too, boo.. you're still not pretty and we all realize that's why you're bitter. Comments like that of course make me seem insensitive, but I've been made fun of my entire life for being happy with myself and just being who I am. I love pink, glitter, shopping, makeup, and apparently that makes you a target for being harassed because my girly-ness seems to be a top comeback for everyone. I'm an observer and I've noticed that people always hate people with nicer things than them. Freshman  year, a guy got harassed for his Burberry button up.. why? Cause that shirt is worth more than your life? (I was lowkey jealous of that shirt like GIMMIE, Like, you are fabulous, sir.) But I want to make it a point that I've seen this happen with guys as well. Another guy I know dresses very well and is very attractive. He could be a model from his hair down to his shoes. He is perfection. And all the guys made fun of him and said he's gay and things of that nature. Why is it always a crime for people to want to look nice? There's the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen in my life in a surrounding town and everyone says she's a slut even though I know for a fact she's never had sex. She does show off her assets occasionally, and that makes her a "slut" but all these average girls getting pregnant are getting praised, and they're not sluts? Apparently nothing's slutty unless you're attractive. I was also called a slut frequently just because guys were interested in me. I just spend a lot of time analyzing people, life, and the way people are. I was at a really low point before due to the amount of shit I received from people. I really just wanted to make this post to say a few things:
♡ Get to know people before you judge them. If you see a pretty girl who looks like she wants to kill people all the time, that is JUST HER FACE. I feel like the prettier someone is, the more of a bitch face they have. It's probably due to the strong facial features and high eyebrow arches ( just being honest ).
♡ Don't ever hate someone because they have more than you. I promise, usually people with more than you don't think that they're better than you. Don't let your jealousy prevent you from getting to know someone who could be an amazing person.
♡ If a girl likes to look nice and likes to wear makeup, LET HER! Who are you to judge someone for wearing makeup? It doesn't effect you AT ALL. If you're so mad that a girl's wearing makeup because it makes her look good, maybe you should invest in some yourself. Fuck, I'll give you a makeup lesson if it'll end your bitterness.
